Wow! It's been a while since I've updated the blog or website. I'm sorry about that. Hopefully soon I will be able to do a little of both. In the meantime, I'll share a little update.

We've downsized  the aviary and no longer breed parrotlets, canaries, red-rumps or lovebirds. I do still have one pair of pineapple greencheek conures but they are more pets than breeders so we will rarely have any GCC babies.

Cockatiels however are going strong. I've been working on my rare colors more than anything else. The focus has been on fallows and emeralds. Both are coming along slowly.

I currently have several handfed fallow youngsters available. They are banded and will make great pets or breeders.

New Cockatiel Babies!

We have several new clutches of Cockatiels in many different colors. Check out our "available" page for more information.  All babies are close banded, hand-fed and abundance weaned. They make great pets or breeders. Call or email for more information.

New Red Rump Babies!

We have three new red rump parakeet babies!  2 normal colored boys, both split to cinnamon are weaned and ready for new homes. They were hand-fed and are super sweet, very active birds, great for any family. They are available now wor $100 each! Call or email for more information.

Joan is hand feeding two wonderful little red rump parakeet babies. Both are lutino but gender is not yet known. Parents are both lutino. More information and pictures coming soon.

Bird Show and Fair in Illinois

The Heart of Illinois Bird Club will sponsor its first Bird Show on June the 12th and 13th 2010 at the Grand Hotel in Peoria IL. Divisions will be SPBE, NFSS, NCS, ALBS, ABS, and an Open. There will be 2 shows for NFSS, SPBE, and NCS. One of the SPBE shows will be for double points. Raffle will be held for a large walk-in-aviary. Tables are still available for the Fair. Lovebirds!
